Lawyer Cynthia PalmerMeet Attorney Cynthia Palmer

“Being a child custody attorney and family lawyer isn’t just about legal cases and laws, it’s about the lives of your client and the children involved. The manner a custody case is handled will have a lasting impact on the children and therefore, child custody attorneys have a greater responsibility to care for more than just their legal case.”

Ms. Cynthia Palmer is a partner to The Wright Firm, L.L.P. and has been with the firm since December of 2004. She is a board certified family law attorney and is the firm’s child custody specialist. Cynthia has also been recognized by Texas Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” among family law attorneys in the state for the past three years.

Prior to joining our firm, Cynthia worked in both the Family Justice Division and Child Protective Division of Collin and Harris County. During her time there, Ms. Palmer handled child custody cases involving Child Protective Services. “CPS cases commonly involve many court hearings, so it is important to have an attorney that understands the system,” says Cynthia. Ms. Palmer is very knowledgeable in handling various issues at different stages involving child custody and Child Protective Services.

Cynthia Palmer is a graduate of South Texas College of Law and a member of the “Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 1998.” She is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas, Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Association of Family Law Specialist, as well as a member of the Denton and Dallas Bar Association.
